Legends of the thriller world coming to Maidstone

Maidstone LitFest is delighted to welcome two absolute masters of the thriller novel to the festival lineup.



Lisa Jewell's first novel, Ralph’s Party, was published in 1999 and was the best-selling debut novel of the year.


Since then she has published another sixteen novels, most lately a number of dark psychological thrillers, including The Girls and Then She Was Gone, both of which were Richard & Judy Book Club picks.


Lisa is a top 10 New York Times and number one Sunday Times author and has been published worldwide in over twenty-five languages.


In her latest thriller, None of This is True, a podcaster's life threatens to unravel when she allows her 'birthday twin' to inveigle their way into her life in a barnstorming thriller-ride.

Dorothy Koomson is an award-winning, global bestselling author of 18 novels, known as the ‘Queen of the Big Reveal’.
